cosmopolitan

Hey media friends! I have been doing research on a famous magazine called cosmopolitan! I have been trying to get my ideas from this very famous magazine because it has a lot of healthy articles, and cute food recipes, which is what my group and I want to do. We are making our magazine unique, but want to base it off of something that we know will be successful. For example I think that if our magazine is decorated correctly and matches the theme, as well as having an intresting topic to it, I think it will be read by many individuals of all ages. Cosmopolitan is known as an international fashion magazine for women. It was first published in 1886 in the United States known as a family magazine. Within the years, Cosmopolitan transformed into a literary magazine, and then became a womens magazine in 1965. Cosmopolitans content includes articles about health, careers, self-improvement, sex, relationships, celeberties, and fashion. Which is why most women of the ages of 16 and up can relate to it and have fun reading it. Cosmopolitan is also filled with criticism, politics, and interviews. So in these cosmopolitan magazines you can see how they have interesting headlines, which grabs the readers eyes. You can also see how the name "cosmopolitan" is the name size,font, and located in the same place in every magazine, the only difference is the color. I will continue talking with my group to try and get a similar picture type but have different colors and issues amongst each magazine. I will get back shortly! xoxo
